Laing O’Rourke is a major projects and frameworks business. Our appointments to leading public and private sector frameworks are central to securing a sustainable pipeline of work with clients who recognise the value and certainty our operating model offers.

As a Government Strategic Supplier, onboarded by the Cabinet Office, we maintain a collaborative relationship with the UK Government, providing consultation and input into how major construction and infrastructure projects are procured, planned and delivered.

We are appointed to the Cabinet Office’s Crown Commercial Service construction works frameworks, on which we have secured more than £3.5bn of work since 2019, for clients including the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice, NHS and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). Beyond the public sector, we are appointed to private sector frameworks in the UK and EMEA, spanning data centre, higher education and infrastructure sectors.

Across our frameworks, we have experience in formal alliancing models in the both the UK and Australia. These models are recognised as collaborative best practice for procuring and managing complex public sector programmes, enabling enduring partnerships, value, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Through our appointment as a Principal Supply Chain Partner (PSCP) on NHS frameworks, from ProCure21 through to the current ProCure23, we have delivered more than 25 projects. We have leveraged our proven component sets and digital tools to provide modern healthcare facilities on time and budget that ultimately deliver improved patient outcomes.
