Leisure
We have extensive experience of delivering leisure projects for clients worldwide, ranging from iconic arts venues, to world-class sports stadia and luxury hotels.
In the UK, we built the City of Manchester Stadium for the Commonwealth Games (now the home of Manchester City and called the Etihad Stadium), oversaw the transformation of 670 acres of contaminated land in east London into the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to stage the London 2012 Olympics, and have recently started work to deliver Everton’s state-of-the-art new stadium on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront.
We have also worked on arts venues, including the world-famous Sydney Opera House in Australia, and are currently building a new music and arts centre in Manchester called The Factory. Our Soho Place, The Whiteley and Future Olympia projects in London include the creation of the first new theatre in the West End for more than 70 years, as well as exhibition and music venues and boutique hotels.
In the Middle East, we have recently completed the Al Wasl Plaza to host Expo 2020 in Dubai, where we also delivered the Atlantis – The Palm, as stunning 23 storey hotel and water park that is the focal point of the Palm Jumeirah man-made island.
