Join Laing O’Rourke’s award winning Internship Programme

At Laing O'Rourke we are passionate about welcoming and developing new talent; providing opportunities to those that are wanting an exciting career in engineering and construction and providing them with real life experience and the building blocks for a challenging and rewarding career.

In 2015 we introduced the Internship Programme to the Australian business with six Interns as a smarter, more efficient way to source entry level talent. Six years later, and having welcomed over 120 interns to Laing O’Rourke, we are proudly recruiting for over 30 positions and are recognised as one of the top Intern Programmes in the country.

Our award winning Internship Programme takes place over a 12 week period commencing Monday 22 November 2021 through to Friday 25 February 2022 and combines practical on-the-job experience with technical learning, professional development and support by experienced and industry leading professionals.

We hire interns Australia wide across six core disciplines: Civil Engineering, Sustainability & Environmental Engineering, Services Engineering, Construction Management, Commercial Management and Planning & Project Controls.

At the end of the programme, all Interns will be given priority consideration to join the Laing O’Rourke Graduate Development Programme commencing January 2023.
