13.01.15

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP + PROGRAMME

The four-year programme gives participants a formal college education, where they will gain anything from an NVQ 2 up to an HNC, alongside substantial on-the-job training, supported by experienced tradespeople and construction professionals. A dedicated mentor will work closely with each apprentice, providing regular feedback on individual development.

The programme was developed in conjunction with ConstructionSkills and is aimed at school-leavers aged 16 and over who have achieved at least three GCSEs (preferably grades A-C) or have a minimum of six months’ work experience within the construction industry. Successful candidates must also be willing to work away from home during study periods and as specific roles require.

New! Higher apprenticeships
For the first time a small number of higher apprenticeships are available to candidates with at least three A-Levels (A-E) that will bring future engineers through the apprenticeship route with Crown House Technologies.

The deadline for all applications is 30 April 2015.

About the Cadet programme
The five-year programme gives participants a debt-free degree in Engineering, Construction, Commercial Management or Information Technology while earning a salary gaining real on-the-job experience.

Successful candidates will complete their accredited day-release degree while working as a full-time employee. The five-year programme also includes a series of in-house modules aimed at exposing participants to the latest developments in construction and engineering. Cadets are mentored through the programme by experienced employees who will support their personal and professional growth using career planning toolkits and tailored development plans.

The Cadet programme is aimed at school leavers with at least 240 UCAS points (three A-Levels at grade C or above, or equivalent), plus at least five GCSEs at grade B or above. Ideally, they will have completed their education no more than two years before applying.

Deadline for Cadet applications is 31 March 2015.
